Sire: Tie is a 2010 National Finalist with one of the best pedigrees you can get. He is a littermate to three titled dogs that include 1 FC AFC, 1 FC and 1 AFC as well as other littermates that are QAA and competing in All Age stakes. Tie is a big dog (95 pounds) that has great looks, is yellow factored and is an
excellent marker.

Dam: I bought Nelly shortly after I moved to Texas for a new job. With a new job and not having an established training group Nelly’s training suffered. She has tons of go, great retrieving desire and loves the water. With limited training I have not ran her in any field trials or hunt tests and just use her as a gun dog. Nelly is a great pheasant hunter and quarters as if she has been pheasant hunting for years. She is a littermate to Black Magic’s F-14 who has 9 Derby points with a win, won back to back Qualifyings at 30 months and is now running All Age Stakes.

Nelly is a very muscular small frame female that weighs approximately 50 pounds. One of the benefits to breeding to Tie is his great size and build that will help add some size to the pups. Also approximately half of the pups will be yellow factored.

Stillwater Retrievers focuses on socialization of the puppies and in doing so the pups will be raised in a family environment in and around the house with lots of daily handling and introduced to birds and water. At approximately 4 weeks of age they will start to spend their days loose in the back yard (weather permitting) where they develop a preference to relieving themselves on grass which gives you a head start on housebreaking. The pups come with a 26 month hip and eye guarantee and will be vet checked. Pups have their dewclaws removed, de-wormed and have their first round of shots. These pups will make excellent field trial, hunt test, or gun dogs.

Sire: Pirate is the 2009 High Point Open Dog, he had 5 Open wins and 1 Amateur win in 2009. He was a finalist in the 2008 and 2010 National Amateur also completed 9 series in both the 2009 National Open and National Amateur. Pirate won the first open he ran when he was only 27 months old. He received his FC-AFC titles at age three and was the youngest dog at the 2006 National Amateur. Pirate pups are doing well in the derby and All Age competition; he is the sire of Lucyana’s Full Speed Ahead who has an Amateur win at 28 months old.

Pirate, like Lee comes from a great pedigree. Both his sire and dam have are Field Champions and both of produced numerous field trial titled dogs. Pirate is a littermate to FC AFC Volwoods Angel and AFC Camino Go For The Pin. Pirate is chocolate factored and some of the all black pups will be chocolate factored.

Dam: Lee is the product of a National Field Champion and a Field Champion, her pedigree is filled with titled dogs that have a great history of also producing titled dogs.

This breeding crosses some of the most popular field trial dogs in the game and we are very excited at the potential these pups have. Reports have been good from the first breeding between Pirate and Lee and those pups are expected to start running in the Derby the summer of 2011.
